Queen Mary 2 in the Haar
Gean Tree, Beauly

September 2006

You should see lots of changes in the site this month as I have been very busy. The Galleries link has now disappeared and you will be taken to a page with each of the galleries represented by a picture. If you click on a picture you will be taken to that gallery. I have also modified each of the Gallery pages so it is much easier to see each picture. You can still buy each picture by visiting the detail page for the picture.

August 2006

I have been busy on the site this month! I have added more photos - I hoope you like them. They are in the new menu item: Locations. And you will see that there are photos of Maryburgh, and Beauly.

Well, the holidays are over. I've now got the area ready for you to download some pictures from. There are photos of some of the birds that visit my birdtable. I am particularly happy with the Goldfinch photos. Goldfinches are not very common in this area, and we have now had them visit our birdfeeder on two consecutive years.

I have also included a photo of "Shorttail". This is a little mouse that has regularly visited our bird feeder. I think that there may be a nest in our garden because I also saw Shorttail along with a mate both feeding happily on the feeder.

Please visit the Freebies section to download these photos.

April 2006

There has been masses of activity around my bird table this month. I've now got some photos of some of the smaller birds - I'm getting them ready for this site. I've also noticed a couple of mice visiting one of my bird feaders - these aren't good enough to sell (there were taken on a driech day through some very dirty double glazed patio doors!). I am thinking of having these as a special area for downloaded wallpaper images - if you'd be interested drop me an email on keepmeinformed@siobhanfraser.co.uk.

Well this has been a very busy month already. We have just got back from Skye where I took some photos of Kilt Rock and a nearby waterfall. I also got some photos of an interesting rock formation covered in lichen - I'll be putting these onto the website shortly - so keep watch.

This month started off with a visit to Brodie Castle in Moray. Well, actually, the purpose of the visit was to get some photos of the speciality daffodils they have down there. Unfortunately the weather has been so cold recently there were very few out. So, we went for a nice walk round the duck pond there and I got some lovely photos of a Mute Swan and some ducks.

March 2006

Visited Stirling Castle at the end of the month. Have taken some pictures of that, so keep an eye on this site as I will be posting them here shortly. On our way back from Stirling Castle we called in at the Scottish Crannog Centre at Loch Tay. We had a great time there, and I've taken some photos of the reconstructed Crannog. These will be appearing on the site shortly as well.

Started redeveloping the web site. Keep visiting as there will be further developments coming up in the next few weeks.

February 2006

First version of the Web site went live.
